Fully funded support for eligible small and medium sized businesses across the North East to support businesses to develop and grow online.
Support from Business Northumberland is currently delivered online via Microsoft Teams, meaning that you can attend our workshops from your home or workplace. Training is available from beginner to advanced level, so no matter what your skill level is, we have support you can access to strengthen your digital footprint.
Training is focussed on the following 5 key areas: Microsoft Office, Digital Marketing, Websites and SEO, eCommerce and Social Media. Online networking events are hosted on a monthly basis so that businesses can connect with others and learn about key updates. In addition to this businesses will be supported throughout their learning journey by their Business Growth Advisor through 121 meetings.
The funding secured is from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020, match funded by Advance Northumberland.

Northumberland Covid Business Response Programme
The Northumberland Covid Business Response Programme (NCBRP) is a new service for SMEs who have been adversely affected by COVID-19. The Project is funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority and will be delivered by Advance Northumberland on behalf of Northumberland County Council and the Northumberland Business Hub.
The programme has two distinct areas of delivery in assisting eligible businesses within the County as they look to adapt to new market opportunities and new ways of working and engaging with customers because of COVID-19.
Unlock 12 hours of fully funded support through the Business Advantage Programme. Receive 121 coaching from sector experts to support your business to recover. Support is available in various areas, ranging from but not limited to, digital marketing, succession planning, legal, business planning, routes to market.
Fully funded e-commerce websites for business selling tangible products, marketing campaigns for businesses providing a service and a limited number of exclusive apps to support food and hospitality businesses create bespoke table service order systems. Fully funded training is also included to help businesses manage their website and create their own digital marketing campaigns.
