Our mission is to create a pool of Berwick-Upon-Tweed Ambassadors within participating local business to establish Berwick-Upon-Tweed as a place where the visitor receives the highest quality of customer service and is supported with current advice and guidance which creates the most of their visit and encourages future and longer stays.
The Scheme is delivered through an online training module which will provide local knowledge and enhanced customer care skills in order to help visitors to the town access the information they require to get the most out of their visit so Berwick-Upon-Tweed creates a distinctive experience and delivers great visitor memories.
Critically the training module will support Ambassadors as they look to help visitors with the latest visitor information for Berwick-Upon-Tweed. A refreshed Visitberwick Website will be the ‘go to’ place for local information for both visitors and Ambassadors supporting visitors during their stay.
The Visit Berwick Website will be refreshed in order to provide the latest visitor information, with detailed content provided on local attractions, events and facilities.
The Website will include a section, targeting visitors, regarding the Berwick-Upon-Tweed Ambassador Scheme. This will explain the role of Ambassadors and direct visitors to participating businesses, identified through an easily recognisable brand and logo.
